Alteration specialist

We are hiring an experienced Alteration Specialist for our La Crescenta–Montrose location. You’ll handle clothing alterations and repairs, take accurate measurements, and deliver clean, high-quality finishing that customers can trust.

What you’ll do

Perform alterations and repairs: hemming, resizing, seam work, zipper replacement, basic fixes
Take accurate measurements and help customers choose the right adjustment
Mark and pin garments properly, then finish with clean, durable stitching
Keep work on schedule and meet deadlines
Inspect finished work before it goes out (fit, stitching, overall look)
Keep your workspace organized and tools in good condition

What we’re looking for

Proven tailoring/alterations experience
Strong sewing skills and clean finishing
Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
Basic English communication (Spanish is a plus)
